F.A.Q...
- Can you administer medications to my pet? We are happy to administer liquid medication and solid medication.
- Is Paws n' Claws insured? Absolutely.
- I've never contracted with a pet sitter before. What type of visits should I set up for my pet? Every pet is different! Cats tend to do fine on their own for longer periods of time. However, we still suggest 1 visit a day in the case that there is an emergency. Puppies will usually need more than one visit a day while adults can do less IF there is a doggy door or they are outside. Ask your sitter what they suggest to find an option that works for you!
- How far in advance do I need to call you to schedule pet sitting? We understand that emergencies happen, and we are happy to accomodate any last minute visits we can. We also hope you will make any necessary cancellations prior to the day of service. Also, when you come home from your trip, please call us so we don't make an extra trip to care for your beloved pet and we know they are safe.
- For what emergency procedures have you prepared? CPR, rescue breathing, management of bleeding, choking, shock, fractures, and seizures among others.
- Is there a backup plan? Our team is fully prepared, and we plan daily, to back each other up in case one of us has an extreme emergency and is unable to perform the duties of caring for your pet. This is only necessary if there is an emergency
- When I give you a key to my home, what privacy measures do you take to keep it safe? We label each key and place the key in a safe place. The key will not have an address or any number that will show where the key belongs. Also, the key and the data are securely stored in completely different areas.
- What areas do you serve? Murrieta, Temecula, Menifee, Lake Elsinore, Wildomar, and Winchester.
- How long have you been taking care of pets? Over 25 years!
- Do you care for exotic animals? Yes, we're available to care for most pets. If we haven't cared for an unusual breed, we are willing to learn. However, we are unable to care for snakes. We are unable to feed one pet to another. Sorry.
- How do I contact you while I'm away? You can call us at 1.877.406.3159 or email us at info@pawsnclawspetcare.com. We can also call, text, or email you, or leave a visit log at your home each time we visit.
- You mean I get a GUILT-FREE vacation? Yep!
- Where do I start? Call us at 1.877.406.9159 or email us at info@pawsnclawspetcare.com . We'll schedule a consultation (free to you) to meet you and your pet, get your information, and set up your scheduled visits. It's really that simple.
